Six retiring LEGO Star Wars sets to grab before they’re gone

The latest LEGO Star Wars sets may be exciting, but it’s worth looking back at older sets available at a discount before they retire for good too.

As we near the end of 2024, now is as good a time as any to catch up on the retiring sets across all themes, with some sets scheduled to leave production in December. For LEGO Star Wars specifically, there are a few notable builds that you might want to grab before they’re gone.

Here are six retiring LEGO Star Wars sets to grab at a discount at Zavvi before they leave shelves in three months. All LEGO set retirement dates are subject to change but at this point in the year, any major amendments are unlikely.

£50 off 75308 R2-D2

As exciting as the newer R2-D2 build is, sometimes you can’t beat the classics. 75308 R2-D2 is a much bigger recreation of the droid with increased details and functionality. While it would usually cost £209.99, Zavvi has slashed that price down to £159.99.

£7 off 75353 Endor Speeder Chase

A smaller but still noteworthy discount is available on 75353 Endor Speeder Chase too, offering a LEGO Star Wars diorama for less with a pair of speeder bikes whizzing through the forest moon of Endor’s natural scenery.

£12 off 75364 New Republic E-wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter

Ahsoka enthusiasts won’t want to miss out on 75364 New Republic E-wing vs. Shin Hati‘s Starfighter for its minifigure selection including the only minifigures of Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati – both of which could appear in the second season of Ahsoka. You can take £12 off this set now at Zavvi.

£20 off 75365 Yavin 4 Rebel Base

After years of waiting for a Yavin 4 base model, there’s not long left to grab 75365 Yavin 4 Rebel Base at Zavvi before the display-worthy playset retires. Zavvi has reduced the £149.99 price of this LEGO Star Wars set to £129.99 at the time of writing.

£47 off 75371 Chewbacca

Pair the new C-3PO figure with the retiring 75371 Chewbacca while you still can and save £47 on the LEGO Star Wars set at Zavvi right now. It’s one of the most unique LEGO Star Wars models released in the past few years with an impressive level of texture for the character’s thick fur.

£5 off 75346 Pirate Snub Fighter

With Star Wars: Skeleton Crew on the horizon (and it’s only LEGO set out now), you might want to consider Zavvi‘s discount on 75346 Pirate Snub Fighter too. This set features the exclusive Vane minifigure, who returns in Skeleton Crew from The Mandalorian.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.

If you mean a Brick Seperator, you can pick them up on LEGO.com under product number 630. Alternatively, LEGO Stores frequently stock them too and they’re not too expensive. They come in many current LEGO sets as well.
