Six things we need in the rumoured LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian Season 3 sets

Rumours for a few more The Mandalorian Season 3 LEGO Star Wars sets may present an opportunity to fill in a few gaps in previous builds.

Recent rumour reports from exabrickslegogo_ for more The Mandalorian Season 3 sets have surfaced online, mostly based on the final episodes of the season that the initial models didn’t have the chance to cover.

While these rumours are still just that and have yet to be officially confirmed, they present a chance to fill in what has been missed, including some items that have been missing from The Mandalorian sets for a while.

6 – A less expensive Hover-pram

Featured (in minifigure-scale) in 75331 The Razor Crest for ££519.99 / $599.99 / €599.99, the rumoured 75378 BARC Speeder Escape is said to include Grogu, Jedi Master Kelleran Beq and two Shock Troopers for $29.99.

The scene that this rumoured set is likely based on includes the commonly-featured Hover-pram as a core element. For the sake of accuracy, this could be a less expensive way to pick up this iconic part of The Mandalorian.

5 – New helmets

Rumoured minifigures in the reported 75386 Mandalorian Bunker and 75373 Mandalorian Season 3 Battle Pack include two Super Commandos, Moff Gideon with his helmet and two Elite Praetorian Guards.

While existing LEGO helmet pieces could depict these characters well, the latter two would benefit greatly from new helmet elements to best set them apart from existing minifigures.

4 – A new Grogu expression

The Grogu figure used in LEGO Star Wars so far has suited the character fine as Grogu doesn’t have the most emotive face in Star Wars.

However, we’ve had lots of Grogu LEGO figures at this point and some changes to the printing on the current piece could provide a new face for the character, better suited for his escape from the Jedi Temple or one of general surprise.

3 – A sad scene

With the rumoured minifigure selection in 75386 Mandalorian Bunker, a certain scene from the finale of The Mandalorian seems likely to be recreated.

Similar to 75334 Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader, a simple feature could exemplify the sorrowful nature of the scene – a pair of closing doors to pose extra minifigures behind.

2 – Printed vambraces

With a Mandalorian crossover movie in the works, more Mandalorian minifigures seem likely and a simple printed detail could get a lot of use in the future.

In the rumoured LEGO Star Wars sets, there may be a chance to include a pair of basic printed vambraces on the arms, similar to Din Djarin’s minifigures. This may better fit the general design of a multitude of Mandalorian characters, especially on different coloured arm pieces.

1 – Generic minifigures

75373 Mandalorian Season 3 Battle Pack is rumoured to include Koska Reeves, a blue Mandalorian and two Super Commandos.

While the debut of Koska Reeves could be a welcome sight, it would be great for the rest of the reported pack to remain as generic as possible for maximum value when buying multiple copies. There are enough Super Commandos and Mandalorians in Bo Katan’s group after all.

I feel like Koska’s armor is generic enough that multiples of her shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
