Some LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary minifigures are already discounted
If you’ve been unwilling to pull the trigger on a set with a LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary minifigure, we’ve found some deals that might make it an easier decision.
With all of the official LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary minifigures now revealed, each one is (almost) as tempting as the last. Whichever one your favourite is likely depends on what era of Star Wars you prefer but, safe to say, the design of each one is as impressive as you would expect for the theme’s birthday celebrations.
Each minifigure comes in a set unrelated to the character depicted. ARC Trooper Fives never set foot in the Tantive IV, for example, but is instead displayed outside the diorama on his special anniversary stand.
That means it might feel difficult to commit to purchasing the set purely for the minifigure, if you’re not that interested in the main build. However, some discounts on a couple of the anniversary builds could help make that decision a tad easier.
UK retailer GAME has 20% off both 75379 R2-D2, which would also offer you Darth Malak, and 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV, which includes Arc Trooper Fives. Both will come on their specially designed stands and will save you £18 and £10 on each set respectively. While not huge discounts, for brand-new LEGO Star Wars sets that were only released in the last few months, that’s certainly a tempting offer, especially if you weren’t overly sold on the sets as a whole.
