The LEGO Group will be at Gamescom 2024 later this month

Similar to San Diego Comic-Con, the LEGO Group is confirmed to appear at Gamescom 2024 later in August and it may be more than just a booth.

The Gamescom Instagram account has confirmed that the LEGO Group has a presence at the annual gaming event with a booth in Hall 6. This comes shortly after their appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, which was used as an opportunity to showcase upcoming sets.

The same could be done at the Gamescom 2024 booth but focusing the builds on game-related sets and themes instead of wider pop-culture. This might include Animal Crossing, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda and Fortnite.

That’s not confirmed but given that there’s only one upcoming LEGO game in 2024 – LEGO Horizon Adventures – filling the booth with sets might make the most sense.

Promobricks reports that the LEGO Group’s presence at Gamescom will also feature designers offering insight into sets presented at the events. Whether this means that any new models will be revealed has yet to be confirmed but the Gamescom Instagram has teased LEGO-specific news.

It may be worth keeping an eye on Gamescom 2024, even for those not enthused about video games. Gamescom 2024 takes place from August 21 to 25.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
