Travel back in time to Downton Abbey with latest LEGO Ideas project
The latest LEGO Ideas project to make it past 10,000 supporters on the platform recreates every inch of the beloved Downton Abbey out of bricks.
Thanks to a sprawling fan-made design from BRO3, you might be able to build an enormous LEGO version of Downton Abbey: Highclere Castle yourself some day. No detail has been left out of the enormous stately home, featuring Lady Mary’s room, the dining room, the guest room, a room for servants, the kitchen, and even climbing up the towers with Carson’s office and five smaller empty rooms.
The rooms themselves include various accessories to bring the home to life and a whopping 15 unique minifigures, including eight members of the Crawley family and seven servants.
As an extra bonus, a side build also features Lady Mary’s bench, placed on a heart-shaped base to reflect the various romantic conversations and meetings that happened there. The build will now go up against at least 28 other LEGO Ideas sets in the second 2024 review: remind yourself of what’s part of the competition down below.
