Two new LEGO Botanical Collection sets confirmed for 2024

A Dutch retailer has revealed that two new additions to the LEGO Botanical Collection will arrive early next year.

Eldorado International has published early listings for dozens of LEGO sets, confirming previously only rumoured sets across LEGO Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel, Technic, and more. In addition, two new listings with both set numbers and names have revealed that the Botanical Collection will be growing by two next year.

40747 Daffodils and 40725 Cherry Blossoms don’t come with a ton of details beyond their names. However, these names would suggest they are on the smaller side, perhaps akin to 10280 Flower Bouquet rather than the more sturdy 10289 Bird of Paradise, which comes complete with its own pot. Indeed, 40646 Daffodils is retiring this year, so. 40747 Daffodils could pave the way for perhaps a more detailed, updated design for the flower.

40725 Cherry Blossoms would presumably need to be more than the mere blossoms, perhaps a few strands that you could arrange in a vase or a miniature version of a cherry blossom tree, similar to 10281 Bonsai Tree. Off the back of 10315 Tranquil Garden and 21060 Himeji Castle, this highlights a running trend from the LEGO Group of sets inspired by Japanese culture.

We’ll have to wait until we get more official details from the LEGO Group or retailers to know what these two sets will look like, but check out our full list of now-confirmed rumours that the flurry of listings from Eldorado International confirmed here.
