Type like LEGO with a keyboard with the most satisfying sounds

This LEGO keyboard isn’t just made of bricks, but it sounds just like them as well.

The Kit Adam keyboard from KBDCraft is made entirely of LEGO elements (which isn’t a new idea), but adds a new aspect by making every key you click sound like you’re building a LEGO set. If you spend much of your day sitting at a desk, that cuts into valuable building time. Now, you can pretend like you’re still building, even when you’re tapping away at your keyboard instead of your latest LEGO build.

“This keyboard sounds super similar to the LEGO building sound,” explains TikTok creator @ty_cottle. “And the board is completely made of LEGO.”

He demonstrates just how satisfying the clicking of the keys is in his video, before comparing it to a clip of studs clicking against one another, pulled from one of the LEGO videogames.

The tactile noises of the building techniques is a signature part of those games, so being able to bring them into real life, even in a small way, is an exciting development for any long-time LEGO fan.

You can buy the Kit Adam for yourself here, starting from £50 for the base kit (although you’ll probably want the full one, which is £83.94).

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
