You’re picking the cover of the next LEGO Star Wars encyclopedia

LEGO Ideas has launched a new activity to design the cover of the next LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia and it’s partially up to you.

The next LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia is coming in 2025 complete with an exclusive minifigure. LEGO Ideas has opened up a new fan vote for the book and while it’s not letting you decide who the exclusive minifigure will be, the vote is still minifigure-focused.

Until August 23 at 3:00pm EST, you can vote on which minifigure will be on the cover of the encyclopedia between Luke Skywalker in his rebel pilot garb, C-3PO and Ahsoka Tano based on her recent Disney+ series.

You can submit your vote by clicking here and there’s only one vote per user. Make sure you’re signed into LEGO Ideas before clicking the link.

The winner of this vote will be announced on August 26, but the book won’t be available until 2025. When it does launch with the partially fan-designed cover, it is confirmed to be available on LEGO.com as well as the usual bookstores. You can find out what we know about the 2025 book by clicking here

Usually, exclusive minifigures are front and centre on LEGO books though it seems unlikely that this fan vote will secretly determine which character will get an exclusive figure. Instead, the LEGO Ideas blog teases that this will be a new cover, potentially in a new style.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
