Every LEGO Star Wars podracing set so far
A new addition to the ever-elusive LEGO Star Wars podracing sets is brought around the corner but this scene isn’t often represented in the theme.
As rare as LEGO Star Wars prequel sets are compared to that of the original trilogy, models based on podracing are even more elusive, especially for racers beyond Anakin and Sebulba. Thankfully, another entry into the limited range is right around the corner and it’s been an interesting journey for LEGO podracing sets, covering a wide variety of models over the past 25 years.
Here’s every LEGO Star Wars podracing set so far leading up to 75380 Mos Espa Podrace next month, including 13 products across 25 years of the theme.
7131 Anakin’s Podracer
Price: $15 Pieces: 136 Release date: April 1, 1999
7131 Anakin’s Podracer is one of the first LEGO podracing sets within LEGO Star Wars and also one of the first in the theme. It was released 25 years ago and offered a simple but iconic recreation of the podracer with a sand-coloured stand keeping it together.

The first of many microscale depictions of podracers debuted in 2003’s 4485 Sebulba’s Podracer & Anakin’s Podracer. It captures the unique vehicle’s shapes at this scale well but these techniques would not be used in miniature models of the podracers again.

Following the debut of transparent stands for podracers in 2003’s 4485 Sebulba’s Podracer & Anakin’s Podracer, this set expanded on the concept for a more accurate appearance.
