LEGO NINJAGO 71814 Tournament Temple Arena rumoured to revisit familiar concept
A new rumour for LEGO NINJAGO’s 71814 Tournament Temple Arena posits that it could be treading familiar ground for the theme’s huge models.
Instagram user brick_clicker, via thebrickreporter, has reported a description for the rumoured 71814 Tournament Temple City suggesting that it could be a second chance for newer NINJAGO enthusiasts.
71814 Tournament Temple Arena’s latest rumour update has changed its name from a city to an arena and it’s rumoured to feature a dark blue building with two smaller buildings on either side complete with a bridge and a dragon. Aside from the dragon, that sounds similar to 2015’s 70751 Temple of Airjitzu which has long since retired. It also doesn’t sound too similar to what may have been teased in 71819 Dragon Stone Shrine as that sticker features no bridge.
Provided that this rumour is accurate, it could be a chance for newer NINJAGO enthusiasts to catch up on the set while not copying the model exactly for longtime NINJAGO collectors. The rumoured set is stated to include 14 minifigures featuring Wu, Lloyd, Wyldfyre, Cole, Zane, Arin, Sora, Nya and five civilians.
Based on the rumoured inclusion of Sora and Arin, the reported dragon could be Riyu possibly similar to how he appears in 71810 Young Dragon Riyu.
No sets for LEGO NINJAGO that are not currently available have been confirmed at the time of writing and all rumours should be taken with caution. 71814 Tournament Temple Arena is believed to include 3,489 pieces for $249.99.
