LEGO Icons 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System revealed
The previously rumoured LEGO Icons 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System has reportedly been discovered in the wild.
A rumour emerged last month regarding the arrival of yet another LEGO space-related set in 2024, 10341 Artemis One Rocket & Launchpad, with a massive LEGO Icons model said to be launching in May. However, at least some of those initial details regarding the build now appear to have been proven true, as 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System has reportedly been spotted in the wild.
The upcoming LEGO Icons set was snapped in what is said to be Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei by reddit-user Spare_Promotion661. From what we can see on the box, the huge model is an 18+ build coming in at a whopping 3,601 pieces, recreating what looks to be the Artemis I rocket, complete with boosters and detailed launch gantry.
The previous rumour suggested that 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System might be arriving on May 15 priced at $259.99, but those specific details have yet to be confirmed. The giant SLS (Space Launch System) rocket blasted off on an uncrewed Moon-orbiting mission in 2022 and included four LEGO minifigure astronauts.
The version of the rocket last appeared in simplified brick form in 60351 Rocket Launch Centre, with the LEGO City set boasting NASA-inspired details, a multistage rocket with capsule, working launch tower lift and control centre.
The LEGO Group has yet to officially announce the release of 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System, but that could be happening soon, considering that the LEGO Icons set might be landing in less than a month.
