10 retiring LEGO sets to pick up with LEGO Insiders double points

We’re nearly halfway through 2024, meaning we’re getting ever closer to the end of some LEGO sets’ time on shelves – and now is a valuable time to pick them up.

The LEGO Insiders double points event starts today, meaning you can earn the equivalent of 10% cashback on all LEGO sets you buy in between now and June 16. That means it’s a smart time to buy any LEGO sets you’ve had your eye on – including those due to retire at the end of this year.

Retiring LEGO sets are a part of the natural lifecycle of a set, but they can come around quickly if you don’t keep an eye on them. With almost half of 2024 already gone, it’s not too long until dozens of LEGO sets across almost every theme will be gone for good. With that in mind, we’ve gathered together some retiring LEGO sets we think you won’t want to miss.

2022’s LEGO Star Wars UCS model came in the form of 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder, capturing the familiar silhouette and every detail of Luke’s humble starting vehicle on Tattooine in its 1,890 pieces. Complete with Luke Skywalker and Threepio minifigures and an information plaque to complete the stand, the warm colours of the landspeeder stand out from the typical grey of LEGO Star Wars sets.

At £209.99 / $239.99 / €239.99, you can earn yourself a massive 3,360 by buying 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder during the double points event, making it an even more enticing purchase.

The 75257 Falcon is nice. I picked it up in person at 12.01am on October 4th, 2019 at the Lego store at Disney Florida. I believe I was the first to buy it in person anywhere.

There’s a few on the list I’d love to pick up but Lego pricing is crazy now so I’m out even with double points…
