Cats react to LEGO Ideas 21349 Tuxedo Cat
One week on from its release, here’s what the most important demographic thought of LEGO Ideas 21349 Tuxedo Cat.
Is there anything that LEGO fans love more than their new sets? There’s only one answer: their pets. The release of 21349 Tuxedo Cat brought both areas together in some wonderful ways. Indeed, Brick Fanatics‘ own feline model Kiki was one of the first creatures to come face to face with our copy of the most recent LEGO Ideas release.
Other LEGO builders have had similar ideas – with some hilarious results. We thought we would gather together some of the internet’s finest catty reviews of 21349 Tuxedo Cat, straight from the kitty’s mouth.
Anyone who knows anything about cats will know that empty boxes are as exciting to them as free LEGO would be to us. So it’s perhaps no surprise that at least one cat was largely focused on the empty LEGO box than the actual set which, conveniently enough, is the perfect size for a cat to hide inside.
Other cats managed to look past the temptation of the empty box waiting to be sat in to recognise that a feline intruder might have entered the house – and they’re not impressed.
Of course, cats can do aloof disinterest like no one else, so there’s also a fair few cat companions who quite literally couldn’t care less that their owners have added a brick-built version of them to the collection. Why would that interrupt naptime?
In the case of Dot, she’s not sure why the scent-less, fur-less, immobile clone of her has been brought into the house – but safe to say she’s not a fan. We’d recommend keeping your copy of 21349 Tuxedo Cat far away from the edge of any shelves if your cat has a similar reaction. They might plan an assassination attempt…
21349 Tuxedo Cat is available to buy now worldwide for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99.
