The cutest LEGO Disney set on the market for less than £50

One of the most adorable LEGO Disney sets released so far is on sale now and could be yours for less than £50 while stocks last.

We’ve been waiting years for LEGO Lilo & Stitch and now there’s plenty of choice between Collectible Minifigures, a BrickHeadz set and the detailed and adorable 43249 Stitch. 43249 Stitch is the biggest of the selection and offers one of the most faithful depictions of Experiment 626 to date.

It’s not quite a perfect depiction of Stitch as the LEGO Disney designers have opted to have the character wear a floral shirt and Hibiscus flower to lean into his Hawaiian roots. John Lewis is currently stocking the set for £47.99 instead of the usual $59.99.

43249 Stitch is made up of 730 pieces and comes in a seated position with a hand gripping an ice cream cone. You can turn Stitch’s head and move his ears to change his expression, should he spill his ice cream on the beach for instance.

The LEGO Disney figure is the perfect size to sit on a desk or shelf without taking up much space while making a sufficient statement as a homage to the iconic animated series. It might be a useful tribute build for the upcoming live-action Lilo & Stitch movie too.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
