First look at LEGO Technic 42184 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar
An online retailer has published the first images of LEGO Technic 42184 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar, and you’ll never guess what it looks like…
Close your eyes and imagine 42173 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut Grey Hypercar in white. You’ve now basically achieved the same thing as looking at the first images of 42184 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar, published today by German retailer JB Spielwaren. This is a recoloured version of the already-revealed mid-range Jesko launching in August, following in the footsteps of previous LEGO Technic recolours such as last year’s yellow and blue Bugatti Bolides.
But where those cars raced on to shelves a few months apart, 42184 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar will apparently arrive on the very same day as its grey counterpart, offering LEGO Technic petrolheads the chance to choose between colourways from the off. That’s arguably more consumer-friendly than launching a different colour a few months after everyone’s already bought the original one.
While JB has yet to publish a full listing for 42184 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar – these images have instead come from Instagram – it’s not difficult to imagine that (as rumoured) it will cost the same price as 42173 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut Grey Hypercar at £46.99 / $49.99 / €52.99. And as it’s a direct recolour, it includes exactly the same number of pieces as the grey version (801).
We’ll hopefully find out more specific details about 42184 Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut White Hypercar very soon, as retailer sneak peeks typically come just before official LEGO.com reveals (as happened with 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Racing Yacht only yesterday). Check out the full LEGO Technic 2024 slate as things stand below.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
