Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer released
Sony has released a trailer for next year’s sequel, Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
A new Ghostbusters film is arriving next year that will continue the storyline from the original two films. Jason Reitman is directing, making it a family experience. His father, Ivan Reitman, directed the first two films in the series and returns as a producer.
The film now has a title – Ghostbusters; Afterlife, as well as a trailer, which showcases Paul Rudd and Finn Wolfhard in their lead roles. A star from the original film also turns up to steal the trailer…
As well as the scene-stealing turn from Ecto-1, Paul Rudd and Finn Wolfhard give audiences a taste of what to expect from the film’s leads. The remaining actors from the original Ghostbusters are expected to reprise their roles.
Brick Fanatics understands that the LEGO Group has the licence for Ghostbusters next year, with a new theme on the way for the new film. Three sets have already been released based on the previous movies – 21108 Ghostbusters Ecto-1, 75827 Firehouse Headquarters and 75828 Eto 1 & 2. This information should be treated as rumour until there is an official announcement from the LEGO Group.
