LEGO 40689 Firework Celebrations GWP now available in Australia

A new LEGO GWP is now available down under, with 40689 Firework Celebrations free to all Australian customers spending $140 AUD and over.

Two LEGO GWPs arrived online and in stores last week, with 40690 Tribute to Jules Verne’s Books and 40688 Trophy Award free with specific spending thresholds. While the latter is already out of stock in most regions, the former is still available in the UK and Europe until the end of June 30.

However, a new GWP has now been added to the official Australian online store in the shape of 40689 Firework Celebrations. The previously-revealed promotional set includes 184 pieces and comes with two small dioramas, one of which features stickers depicting fireworks and brick-built explosions, while the other can be spun around, plus two minifigures.

40689 Firework Celebrations is free with purchases of $140 AUD or more on any LEGO sets, which works out to roughly £75 / $90 / €90, and is currently listed on LEGO.com with a value of £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99.

Those down under can pick up 40689 Firework Celebrations from June 27 to July 7, while stocks last. 40690 Tribute to Jules Verne’s Books is also still available to Insiders members in that region, with all purchases totalling $240 AUD and over.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see 40689 Firework Celebrations pop up as a GWP in the UK, US and Europe tomorrow, but the promotional offer has yet to be confirmed by the LEGO Group for those territories.
