LEGO sets are already starting to sell out just hours into June 1

Both US and UK shoppers might need to move quickly to secure the new LEGO sets on their wishlists, as sets already start to sell out.

New LEGO sets for June 1 have only been available to buy for less than 12 hours but some sets are already selling out around the world. In both the UK and the US, 75391 Captain Rex Y-Wing Microfighter has sold out. The US store promises a restock in 60 days but there’s no word on the official UK LEGO store of when it might be restocked. Considering this is the far cheaper way (compared to 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser) to get your hands on the sought-after Captain Rex minifigure.

Elsewhere, the US store is holding up better stock-wise than the UK, with only one other new set on back order, 31212 The Milky Way Galaxy, also due to return in 60 days.

However, the UK store has several sets now sold out or on back order. That includes 60440 Yellow Delivery Truck until July 10, 60424 Jungle Explorer ATV Red Panda Mission sold out completely, 21061 Notre-Dame de Paris until July 10, and 43243 Simba the Lion King Cub sold out as well. Of course, both the LEGO City and LEGO Disney sets should come back eventually, having only just been released.

While these sets are all sold out online, you might still be able to pick them up in LEGO stores near you. However, if you’re planning to shop online and haven’t done so yet, this is your warning sign to check out with the sets you want as soon as possible. We’ve gathered together a full list of releases here, as well as a selection of sets that should make your day-one wishlist, to help your June 1 go as smoothly as possible.
