New LEGO Fortnite updates confirmed for early 2024

The first batch of content updates for LEGO Fortnite have been officially confirmed and will begin arriving sometime in early 2024.

LEGO Fortnite continues to attract plenty of players, with millions around the world already getting stuck into the new game mode. The first collaboration between the LEGO Group and Epic Games, LEGO Fortnite offers a Minecraft-style construction experience, one that’s packed with plenty of exploration, items and enemies, and is now a permanent addition to Fortnite.

However, this is just the beginning of the LEGO Fortnite journey, as we’ve already had confirmation of more LEGO-themed games inside Fortnite next year. Those will be in addition to regular updates, such as additional LEGO Style Outfits being added to a roster of more than 1,200, including a MrBeast skin.

The good news is that the next batch of LEGO Fortnite content could be just around the corner, with social media for the game confirming new updates will begin arriving in early 2024. A post on Twitter states that lots is planned for the game and that the development team is actively encouraging community suggestions, even opening up a unique Discord for further discussion.

That’s already led to plenty of fan ideas such as fast travel between villages, jetpacks, the ability to edit LEGO Styles, new biomes, weekly quests, an exceeded player count and much more. Whether any of those specific ideas will eventually make it into LEGO Fortnite has yet to be confirmed, but we’ll know more once the first content updates drop in early 2024.
