LEGO goat returns to Pick a Brick – with a brand new price

The dark grey LEGO goat from 10332 Medieval Town Square is back up on Pick a Brick and available to order now, complete with a brand new price tag.

The goat was originally among more than 400 new pieces slated to join Pick a Brick on July 1, but was quickly removed from the service after the LEGO Group mistakenly listed it for only 59 cents in the US (and similarly low prices across Europe). The company then confirmed yesterday that the piece would return to Pick a Brick on July 3 with a ‘corrected’ price.

It’s now back and in stock at the time of writing, priced at £4.92 / $5.94 / €5.65 for a single goat. That’s still a bit cheaper than the most affordable dark grey goat on BrickLink, and your Pick a Brick order will also qualify for Insiders points to sweeten the deal that little bit further. It’s listed as a Standard part rather than Bestseller though, so it won’t count towards 40689 Firework Celebrations.

Remember that you’ll need to order at least £10 / $14 / €12 in Standard parts to waive service fees (that’s two or three goats, then). Head over to Pick a Brick to snap up your share of LEGO goats while stocks last – you’ll find it by searching for element number 6490240 – or click here to check out all the new parts joining the parts service this month.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

I’m struggling to see where this goat is marked as a bestseller. The estimated delivery is 28 business days in the uk. There are 2 friends goats which are bestsellers but not the medieval goat.

At the moment the goat is a standard PAB item. It therefore doesn’t qualify for the freebie as per the ts and cs. Only bestseller PAB (as well as sets) qualify.

Don’t think that multiple goats qualify for the freebie as standard PAB purchases don’t qualify. Despite its popularity the goat isn’t a bestseller yet.
