LEGO Insiders will soon no longer be able to earn points at Target

Now is the time to cash in any pending Target receipts for LEGO Insiders points, with the initiative coming to an end very soon.

First launched as a pilot initiative in July 2022, being able to collected LEGO Insiders (then VIP) points as Target stuck around for longer than first thought, nearly coming up to two years. However, this will soon change, with the initiative coming to a close at the end of the month.

You have until then to cash in any unclaimed points via the receipts. As a reminder, to claim points for your purchases, you’ll need to snap a picture of your Target receipt and upload it to the Insiders Rewards Centre at LEGO.com. You can earn one point per $1 spent – much less than the rate at which you’ll earn points when shopping at LEGO.com, where every $1 translates to 6.5 points.

Even after the end of June, you can still earn Insiders points no matter where you buy by scanning the QR code in the instruction manual of your sets. This will earn you a flat 20 points for every single set you register to your Insiders account and is only applicable to sets with those QR codes, present on sets released since 2018.

That tends to be even worse value than the Target system but will soon be the only way to earn Insiders points unless buying directly from the LEGO Group.
