Full LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising Part 2 trailer reveals a familiar face

A full trailer for Part 2 of LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising Season 1 has just dropped on YouTube, featuring glimpses of sets and new character designs.

We’ve already a quick teaser, but now it’s time for a full trailer in earnest, with just over a month to go until the second half of Dragons Rising airs. Early clips highlight the severity of the Mergequakes, as well as giving a look at the Dragon Cores needed to stop them from destroying everything. Of course, it won’t be straightforward with some familiar baddies there to ruin the day, as well as a new look for Ras. He now has stripes visible, where his armour covered him before, which could result in a new print on any future minifigure versions of the character.

Excitingly, Cole appears early on in the trailer, which, along with Zane’s voiceover, suggests that the OG characters will play an even greater role in the second half of the season. It seems like Cole might be in the Never-Realm, based on the face markings and accessories of the character standing behind him but we’ll have to wait and see to be sure.

We also got a brief, on-the-move look at Destiny’s Bounty from 71797 Destiny’s Bounty – Race Against Time, Zane’s car from 71791 Zane’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Race Car, and Lloyd’s mech from 71794 Lloyd and Arin’s Ninja Team Mechs. What’s more, there’s a brief shot of the entire gang altogether, with both Arin and Sora in full ninja suits like the rest. All in all, it looks like there’s plenty of adventure, danger, and epic fighting scenes ahead for the gang.
