LEGO Star Wars, Gamer and Animal gift sets confirmed

The LEGO building instructions portal has confirmed three new gift sets are on the way, each themed around animals, video games or LEGO Star Wars.

Fresh listings have popped up for 66786 Adventure Gamer Gift Set, 66787 Jedi Masters Gift Set and 66789 Animal Gift Set, albeit with no images or other info attached. These set numbers fit with previous multipacks such as 66775 Hoth Combo Pack and 66708 Galactic Adventures Pack, which bundle together currently-available sets in one box (typically with a small discount vs. buying them separately).

We can probably expect the same from these gift sets when they eventually arrive on shelves, which will presumably be sometime this summer given the timing of these listings. Credible contenders for a ‘Jedi Masters’ multipack could include 75378 BARC Speeder Escape, 75360 Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter and 75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter, each of which includes a Jedi Master minifigure.

The other two gift sets are a bit more difficult to predict given they’re much broader themes, but 66786 Adventure Gamer Gift Set could perhaps include 2023’s 60388 Gaming Tournament Truck, while 66789 Animal Gift Set could potentially bundle together a couple of Creator 3-in-1 animal sets, such as 31137 Adorable Dogs and 31140 Magical Unicorn.

We’ll hopefully find out more about these three gift sets – including their contents, pricing and availability – soon.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
