Five LEGO Star Wars minifigures for the new visual dictionary

The updated edition of the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary will include an exclusive minifigure and there’s a lot of potential for who it could be.

Still listed on Amazon, another edition of the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary is coming on April 2, 2024, for $24.99 and, as usual, it will feature an exclusive minifigure.

Based on previous LEGO visual dictionaries, the exclusive minifigure in the updated edition of the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary seems likely to be a more familiar character rather than someone entirely new. However, exactly who it will be has yet to be confirmed and we’ll probably know more once the cover of the book has been finalised.

Being realistic, mostly, here’s five characters that we’d like to see take this spot in the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary Updated Edition.

Moff Gideon in Beskar armour

From the most recent season of The Mandalorian, a new minifigure of Moff Gideon with his Beskar armour could be a perfect fit for this slot. The ideal helmet brick already exists thanks to 75316 Mandalorian Starfighter

Also from The Mandalorian, considering the popularity of the show and the minifigures featured on the concept cover, Luke Skywalker’s outfit featuring a harness to carry Grogu could be a simple, but realistic exclusive minifigure for the visual dictionary, similar to Iron Man in the recent Marvel dictionary.

Emperor Palpatine from The Rise of Skywalker

Emperor Palpatine’s outfit from The Rise of Skywalker, depicted as a minifigure in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, is another potential pick for the book, offering a new depiction of an iconic character and one that was missed in the first The Rise of Skywalker sets.

Boba Fett with an accurately coloured helmet

Boba Fett’s minifigure based on The Book of Boba Fett, featured recently in 75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter, has a helmet that is simply too light in shade. An exclusive minifigure in e visual dictionary could resolve this issue at last and the character is getting a new face print later this year too, so updates aren’t impossible.

Cal Kestis

It might not be quite as realistic as the rest of the characters on this list but to go alongside the figure in 75335 BD-1, Cal Kestis from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor or Fallen Order needs a minifigure to accompany the droid and this might be the place for it, similar to Rita Skeeter in the LEGO Harry Potter Character Encyclopedia New Edition.
