LEGO DREAMZzz 30660 Zoey’s Dream Jet Pack Booster revealed

A new LEGO DREAMZzz polybag is on the way later this year, offering an easier way to get your hands on the newest Zoey minifigure.

The LEGO DREAMZzz cast is getting a redesign for Season 2 of the accompanying TV show and its tie-in sets this summer. That includes Zoey, who swaps out her battle vest torso for a colourful jacket-and-trousers combo in 71479 Zoey’s Cat Motorcycle and 71484 Cooper’s Robot Dinosaur C-Rex. But if you’re not planning to pick up either of those sets, there will be one more way to add Zoey to your collection.

That’s in 30660 Zoey’s Dream Jet Pack Booster, a new polybag unveiled by German retailer JB Spielwaren. The 37-piece set includes the new Season 2 Zoey minifigure, a brick-built jetpack, and a small nightmare creature, and arrives on August 1 alongside the rest of the latest DREAMZzz wave.

What’s less certain at this stage is the polybag’s wider availability. JB Spielwaren will apparently be selling it for €3.99, but it could also appear in supermarkets in the UK and US, as a gift-with-purchase at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores, in the Insiders Rewards Centre, or to buy through various other online retailers. Those are all channels through which polybags have appeared previously.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
