You may not need eight copies of LEGO 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure

LEGO BrickHeadz 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure is collectable, but you may not need multiple copies to display all eight Caped Crusaders.

From The Batman to The LEGO Batman Movie, 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure offers the most brick-built Batman figures in one set, though only one can be built at a time. For DC enthusiasts, it’s an exciting upcoming release as you’re almost certain to find a depiction of the hero that you enjoy but for BrickHeadz collectors, it may be annoying to only be able to display one at a time.

While you could pick up eight copies of the £24.99 / $24.99 / €24.99 set when it launches on July 17 and display all eight versions of Batman at once, it won’t be an inexpensive solution. Instead, consider that every decorated piece in 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure appears to be printed and that you could simply pick up the unprinted pieces on Pick a Brick.

The pieces used for all eight figures appear to be common aside from the printed elements and should be easily available on Pick a Brick. Grabbing the extra required parts to put together the other Batman BrickHeadz could be a cheaper solution than purchasing eight copies of 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure. It’s not a perfect plan though as it all relies on one key detail.

The printed pieces in 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure mostly consist of standard one-by-four parts with the chest design on them. These include three black variants, two light grey variants and two dark grey variants. It’s not impossible though that two of the black variants, the dark grey and grey variants are all double-sided prints.

Provided that’s the case, then unless they are made available on Pick a Brick too this plan will be defunct. With any luck though, they’ll be individually-printed elements to make life a bit easier for BrickHeadz collectors.

We’ll know for sure what’s going on with 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure when it launches in just over two weeks for £24.99 / $24.99 / €24.99.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
