Official first look at new LEGO Batman polybag seen online

We’ve got our first official look at the images of the new LEGO Batman polybag thanks to an online retailer, adding to LEGO DC’s catalogue for 2023.

The images from JB Spielmaren are the first official images of the new Batman polybag, which still hasn’t been spotted on LEGO.com. 

LEGO DC seems to have a particular focus this year, and this polybag would be great to get especially if you’re mostly trying to snag this particular minifigure. The Batman we’re getting here is from the 1992 Batman Returns films, which had Michael Keaton playing Batman.

We’ve seen quite a few sets based on these films now that were recently revealed by the LEGO Group, from the 8+ set 76259 Batman Construction Figure to the more complex 18+ set of 76252 Batcave – Shadow Box. 

Notable features about the minifigure include the slight changes that have been made to Batman’s torso, as well as the moulded cape-and-cowl combo that came with the 1989 sets.

As of right now, we don’t know when we’ll be seeing 30653 Batman 1992 Polybag on LEGO.com, but with JB Spielmaren already having images of the set it’s fair to assume that we could get the official LEGO Group reveal soon.
