Seven LEGO Star Wars sets we want to see based on Disney’s Ahsoka

With the season finale of Star Wars: Ahsoka airing today, here are seven LEGO sets based on the Disney+ series that we’d like to see.

Disney+’s live-action Ahsoka has come to a climactic close, but that doesn’t mean that LEGO Star Wars sets based on the show are also over. The LEGO Group has released models based on The Mandalorian for months after episodes debut, as LEGO Star Wars designers get more information and details to base their builds on. In the same spirit, we could well expect more LEGO Star Wars sets based on Ahsoka than the three we’ve had so far.

With that in mind, here are the seven that we would pick. Let us know your own suggestions in the comments. Warning: spoilers ahead for the entirety of Ahsoka season one.

7 – Chopper

Of course, we’ve already had a minifigure-sized Chopper in 75357 Ghost & Phantom II but we’re thinking it’s time for a brick-built replica of everyone’s favourite war criminal, in a similar style to 75308 R2-D2, 75187 BB-8, and the other LEGO Star Wars droids. Throw in the ability to wave around his mechanical arms and surely you’d have a sellout product in the little orange droid.

6 – Morgan Elsbeth versus Ahsoka

In a showdown that’s been long overdue all season, Ahsoka faced down Morgan Elsbeth in the season finale of the titular show. Surrounded by Nightsister magick pillars and Stormtroopers augmented with red and gold details, the scene was suitably dramatic. This would not only offer the chance for this new design of Stormtroopers but also updated Ahsoka and Morgan minifigures with Morgan’s new shadow-induced face and black eyes and Ahsoka’s upgrade to white robes following her experience in the World Between Worlds. As a bonus, it would also require the inclusion of a Blade of Talzin element (although it took a long time for us to get a darksaber, so perhaps this is expecting too much too soon).

A diorama-style set could serve this scene well, in a similar vein to 75324 Dark Trooper Attack, or a simple compact set like 75334 Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader. Both are due to retire at the end of 2023, so there’s a gap in the LEGO Star Wars theme for a small, duel-focused build, if you ask us.

5 – Ezra’s Noti pod

The Noti were the new adorable alien species of the series, becoming a new community for Ezra Bridger. Any of their armoured pods would make for a fun set, but especially Ezra’s slightly larger one, which could feature a minifigure of the long-gone Jedi, alongside his old friend Sabine Wren of course. We’re thinking a similar style and size to 75361 Spider Tank would work well, perhaps with the function for the roof to slide back and reveal the interior, just like in the. show.

4 – The World Between Worlds

One of the most iconic scenes in Ahsoka was the showdown between her and Anakin in episode 5. The old Master and Apprentice duo face each other in the World Between Worlds, standing on a transparent platform and surrounded by white-blue lights. The landscape would make for a truly stunning diorama, but if the LEGO Group wanted to push their creativity to the max, Ahsoka’s journey back into the past could make for an impressive tiered set, akin to 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors’ Edition (although arguably less detailed).

The top layer could be the white and blue surroundings of the World Between Worlds, with some mechanism to allow Ahsoka and Anakin’s minifigures to drop through to the orange landscape of the Clone Wars. This would also open up the possibility of reusing the Captain Rex minifigure from 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser – hopefully at a lower price point.

3 – The Duel on Seatos

We know, including two duel-focused sets is a little dull – but there were too many good fights this season of Ahsoka to choose just one. Plus, the setting of Ahsoka versus Baylan Skoll is different enough from her fight with Morgan that we think it merits its own mention. The shifting lights and Nightsister pillars would make for a fun domed diorama setting, centred around the showdown between Ahsoka and Baylan. We’ve already got accurate minifigures for both Ahsoka and Baylan, so this surely wouldn’t be too tricky of a set to put together, offering a way to get two of the most popular characters from the show in one.

2 – The ISD Chimaera

With more midi-scale LEGO Star Wars ships expected in 2024, a midi-scale version of Thrawn’s ISD Chimaera would be a welcome addition to the fledgling sub-theme. While a UCS model is always welcome of course, we’ve only just had the release of 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser and another similar style UCS ship might be too repetitive.

Plus, a midi-scale ship would still be big enough to pick out the distinctive marks on the underbelly of the Chimaera, with the possibility of using the Nightsisters’ fortress as a realistic stand, much in the same way that the stand works for 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer.

1 – Coordinates Collectible

Finally, the first half of Ahsoka season one was centred around the pursuit of coordinates to find Ezra and Thrawn, hidden inside this mechanical ball. If the LEGO Group is looking for a new type of collectible model to replace LEGO Star Wars helmets, perhaps diversifying into other items that can be displayed on a stand is the way to go.

You could even have the coordinates built as a life-size version, perhaps perched on a stand that mimics the altar on Dathomir that finally revealed the fateful location of Thrawn and his Chimaera.

I think the noti pod would be good, but maybe it should have the chase with the wolf and raiders think that look cool, does mean they (Lego) would have to design new figures. But we are forgetting the purgul in the room. Purgul would be fun as it was also in star wars rebels.
